Puluhan Ribu Santri di Kota Tangerang Meriahkan Hari Santri
Tangerang, Gerbang Banten – Pemerintah Kota Tangerang menggelar apel dan istighotsah untuk memperingati Hari Santri Nasional yang diperingati setiap tanggal 22 Oktober. Dalam Peringatan Hari Santri Nasional tersebut, Pemerintah Kota juga bekerjasama dengan Forum Silaturahmi Pondok Pesantren (FSPP) Kota Tangerang. Gelaran Hari Santri Nasional kedua di Kota Akhlakul Karimah mendapat sambutan luar biasa dari puluhan ribu santri yang hadir untuk mengikuti apel dan istigotsah, Minggu (22/10).
Acara yang diselenggarakan di Plasa Pusat Pemerintahan Kota Tangerang tersebut turut pula dihadiri oleh Wakil Wali Kota H. Sachrudin, Sekretaris Daerah H. Dadi Budaeri dan sejumlah kepala OPD di lingkup Pemerintah Kota Tangerang.
Dalam pidatonya, KH.Syihabbuddin selaku ketua FSPP yang didaulat sebagai pembina apel menyampaikan kota Tangerang merupakan salah satu kota yang sangat mengapresiasi santri yang dibuktikan dengan banyaknya nama jalan yang menggunakan nama dari sejumlah ulama yang juga merupakan santri.
“Ki Samaun, H. Dimyati, KH. Hasyim Ashari contohnya yang namanya diabadikan jadi nama jalan di kota Tangerang.” Ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Wakil Wali Kota Tangerang H. Sachrudin menyampaikan perananan penting santri dalam proses pembangunan bangsa terutama dalam melahirkan tokoh – tokoh yang berjuang untuk mengisi kemerdekaan Indonesia.
“Santri memiliki peranan yang sangat penting, kalau kita lihat kan banyak tokoh – tokoh yang lahir dari kalangan santri,”
“Tidak hanya tokoh lokal tapi banyak juga tokoh nasional.” Sambung Wakil.
Wakil juga berharap melalui peringatan hari santri yang kedua kalinya digelar di kota bermoto akhlakul kharimah ini dapat menambah sinergitas antara santri yang ada di sejumlah pondok pesantren di kota Tangerang dengan aparatur pemerintah untuk bersama – sama berbuat untuk pembangunan kota dan bangsa.
“Mudah – mudahan melalui hari santri bisa menambah sinergitas antara santri dan pemerintah untuk bersama membangun kota dan bangsa.” tutupnya.
Sebagai informasi, pada gelaran tersebut juga turut dilakukan penyerahan piala lomba Musabaqoh Qurotul Kutub (MQK) dan pidato peringatan hari santri 2017 kepada para pemenang antara lain Mizan Khoiri dari Ponpes Permata Hati Insani juara 1 lomba MQK tingkat Ula , Via Fadilatunni’mah dari Ponpes Al Hasyimiyyah juara 1 MQK tingkat Wustho, M. Fatihuddin dari Ponpes Nur Aulia juara 1 MQK tingkat Ulya, dan Mulyanah dari Ponpes Ar – Riyadillah sebagai juara 1 lomba pidato.(Hms/Vic)
